Co founders and former Jumia chief executives launch new ventures, Supermart and Africa Post.

Tunde Kindede's and Raphael Afaedor who both co-founded Jumia.com, Nigeria leading ecommerce site who were both force out the company last year by Rocket-Internet has both gone their separate ways to start a new company.


 Rocket internet, the german base venture capitalist whom Lagpost learnt owns the biggest share in jumia decide to relieve the co founders their post as co CEO of jumia last year to pave for Nicolas Martin and Jeremy Doutte.
Martin and Doutte was brought in to help bring the 3 years old's + company to profit, more than 11 billion naira (70 million dollar) has been sank into jumia and there was nothing to show for it in term of bottom line profit margin, the Samwer brother owner of rocket internet brought in Nicolas and Jeremy to help steer Jumia to profit and regain back it position as market leader from Konga, Tunde and Raphael pleaded for more time but the samwer brothers already made up their mind about pushing out the co funders, Tunde and Raphael were both given a seat on the board but with no power to make any decision concerning how the company is been lead. Both founders as since gone their separate way to co start new ventures with different partners, their current projects is aim at changing the way we leave in Nigeria, in Africa. Raphael announce the launch of he's new venture  supermartng in January, 


according to the Ghanaian entrepreneur "supermart is an online grocery service that want to bring great deal of convenience to your life" it's said that supermart will allow it users shop from over 18,000 grocery items that will be delivered to your home or office at any time of your choosing and in as early as 3 hours after you order. Supermart is partnering with Park 'n' Shop and spar, the service which is available only in Lagos at the moment will be made available nationwide before June.
Nevertheless, Tunde has already hit the ground running with the lunch of A-Post
                    

 A Post "Africa Post" a logistics company which is said to be 80% owned by Tunde at the moment, has already began operation, handling delivery services for Kaymu and DealDey, and some other companies, Tunde said "My mission with A-Post, is to connect Africa" when asked if there are possibilities for A-Post to handle logistics service for Jumia and Supermart, Tunde replied "A-Post will work with any anyone that request for our service" A-Post and Supermart is said to be recruiting, the recruitment is being handle by jobberman. Lagpost  wish them well and urge both Tunde and Raphael to hold unto 51% share in their new companies, to avoid the repetition of what happened with Jumia. !
